Ross Cibella is an Emmy Award
winning producer who has over 35 years experience producing and
directing news,
sports, talk
shows, entertainment programs and commercials.
Ross earned
accolades in the Boston and New York City markets before
transferring his business interests to Florida.
He
has managed production facilities for 30 years, including
leading one of his companies, Century III TeleProductions in
NYC, to become one of "the 10 best production and post
production companies in the United States" (Millimeter Magazine,
1988).
Ross
created and built the cutting edge, large scale, state of the
art Southeast production and post production facility at
Universal Studios, Florida, and pioneered the first digital
facility in the Southeast, the first tapeless audio facility on
the East Coast, and the first use of HDTV in Florida.
He founded
the broadcast design and animation company, Digital Images (the
DI Group) that designed and created graphics on more than 400
local broadcasting stations and cable networks.
During his
career with CBS and United Artists Broadcasting in Boston, Ross
directed
the Pulitzer Prize winning “Paul Benzaquin Show", the nationally
acclaimed television program “Evans and Novak”, was the
Executive
producer/director of “Skittle Alley,” an award winning weekly
one hour children’s program, and was the director of the “White
House Transcripts,” the Nationally Acclaimed two hour drama for
PBS and CBC. He was Executive Producer for the “Race to
Riches” game show hosted by Larry King, and he directed
“Newsmakers” and “The New England Experience” for Colgate
Palmolive. He was the Commercial
director for RKO East, directing commercials for Hood,
Marshall’s, Zayres, Hills, T. J. Maxx, David Brudnoy, Joe
Kennedy and numerous political candidates. He has been a
Director of the Directors Guild of America since 1972.
